Descubriendo la Lectura: Pequeños Grandes Lectores

En la clase de Castellano del grado Jardín, hemos estado disfrutando de la lectura de cuentos como una manera divertida y significativa de acercar a los niños al proceso lector.

Para despertar su curiosidad y generar expectativa, utilizamos diferentes objetos relacionados con las historias, lo que no solo capta su atención, sino que también amplía y enriquece su vocabulario. Esta estrategia se ha convertido en una excelente oportunidad para que los pequeños se adentren con entusiasmo en el mundo de la lectura y descubran el valor de los libros.

En esta ocasión, realizamos una actividad de percepción visual, en la que los niños clasificaron las palabras de los nombres de los personajes en canastas identificadas con su respectiva imagen. Además, tuvieron la posibilidad de construir las palabras con letras movibles, fortaleciendo su reconocimiento de la direccionalidad y la relación entre palabra e imagen.

Estas actividades no solo refuerzan el proceso de lectura, sino que también promueven la atención, la memoria y el trabajo cooperativo. Cada momento en el círculo de lectura se convierte en una oportunidad para que los estudiantes se expresen, compartan sus ideas y disfruten del aprendizaje. De esta manera, el proceso de lectura se consolida de forma natural, respetando el ritmo de cada niño y potenciando el gusto por leer.

Discovering Reading: Little Great Readers

In the Castilian class of Kindergarten, we have been enjoying story reading as a fun and meaningful way to introduce children to the reading process. To spark their curiosity and create expectation, we use different objects related to the stories, which not only capture their attention but also expand and enrich their vocabulary. This strategy has become an excellent opportunity for children to enthusiastically immerse themselves in the world of reading and discover the value of books.

On this occasion, we carried out a visual perception activity, in which the children classified the words of the characters’ names into baskets identified with their corresponding images. They also had the opportunity to build the words using movable letters, strengthening their recognition of directionality and the relationship between words and images.

These activities not only strengthen children’s reading process but also promote attention, memory, and cooperative work. Each moment in the reading circle becomes an opportunity for students to express themselves, share their ideas, and enjoy learning. In this way, the reading process is consolidated naturally, respecting each child’s pace and fostering a genuine love for reading.
