Mariana Rey, nuestra talentosa gimnasta, dejó una huella imborrable en el Suramericano de Gimnasia Artística que se celebró en Ibagué del 28 de noviembre al 1 de diciembre de 2024. Su destacada participación en este importante evento regional no solo evidenció su arduo trabajo y dedicación, sino también su capacidad para competir al más alto nivel.
En la competencia individual, Mariana alcanzó el segundo puesto en suelo, obteniendo la medalla de plata. Este logro resalta su técnica impecable y su fortaleza en una de las pruebas más exigentes. Además, se ubicó cuarta en la barra y quinta en la viga, lo que la colocó en la cuarta posición en la clasificación general, entre las mejores gimnastas del sur del continente.
Sin embargo, el mayor logro de Mariana no se limitó a sus medallas individuales. Como parte de su equipo, contribuyó al primer lugar en la competencia por equipos, coronando su participación con un oro bien merecido.
Este éxito es un testimonio del talento, la disciplina y la pasión que Mariana pone en su disciplina, y un reflejo del compromiso continuo de su entrenador y su entorno de apoyo.
Sin duda, este es solo el inicio de grandes logros para esta prometedora gimnasta.

Mariana Rey, Pride in the South American Artistic Gymnastics Championship

Mariana Rey, our talented gymnast, left an indelible mark in the South American Artistic Gymnastics Championship held in Ibagué from November 28 to December 1, 2024. Her outstanding participation in this important regional event not only evidenced her hard work and dedication, but also her ability to compete at the highest level.
In the individual competition, Mariana took second place in floor, winning the silver medal. This achievement highlights her impeccable technique and strength in one of the most demanding events. In addition, she placed fourth on beam and fifth on beam, which placed her fourth overall, among the best gymnasts in the southern part of the continent.
However, Mariana's greatest achievement was not limited to her individual medals. As part of her team, she contributed to first place in the team competition, crowning her participation with a well-deserved gold.
This success is a testament to the talent, discipline and passion that Mariana puts into her discipline, and a reflection of the continued commitment of her coach and supportive environment.
Surely, this is only the beginning of great achievements for this promising gymnast.
