One of the things that our kindergarten students enjoy doing is participating in different learning centers.
In this activity, the students had the freedom to choose the centers in which they wanted to participate first. As they rotated and completed different activities, such as bowling, constructing with rods and making patterns with geometry figures, the students demonstrated the ability to work together, follow instructions and use thinking skills to solve addition and subtraction problems within 10 using number bonds.
As self-evaluation, they shared what they liked about the activity, what they could do better next time, and mentioned what basic need they satisfied.
We are so proud of our students. Way to go!

Una de las cosas que nuestros estudiantes de jardín disfrutan hacer es participar en diferentes centros de aprendizaje.
En esta actividad, los alumnos tenían la libertad de elegir los centros en los que querían participar primero. Mientras rotaban y terminaban diferentes actividades, como bolos, construir con regletas y hacer patrones con figuras geométricas, los estudiantes demostraron la capacidad de trabajar juntos, seguir instrucciones y usar habilidades de pensamiento para resolver problemas de suma y resta hasta 10 usando enlaces numéricos.
Como autoevaluación, compartieron lo que les gustó de la actividad, lo que podrían hacer mejor la próxima vez y mencionaron qué necesidad básica satisficieron.
