Rosine Dallos Jabbour: autenticidad, propósito y liderazgo con sello Rochester

El Colegio Rochester se enorgullece en compartir el reconocimiento otorgado a Rosine Dallos Jabbour, exalumna de la promoción 2003, quien ha sido nombrada como una de las Líderes Empresariales del 2025 por la reconocida publicación La Nota Económica. Este logro destaca su sobresaliente trayectoria profesional, así como su ejemplo inspirador de liderazgo auténtico y propósito claro.

Rosine es actualmente Country Manager de Samsonite Colombia y cuenta con una trayectoria de más de 17 años liderando estrategias de expansión, innovación comercial y marketing en empresas multinacionales como Coca-Cola FEMSA, Whirlpool, Apple y Samsonite. A lo largo de su carrera, ha demostrado una profunda capacidad para impulsar el crecimiento rentable y sostenible de las compañías en mercados globales como Latinoamérica, Estados Unidos y Asia, consolidando equipos de alto rendimiento e impactando positivamente los resultados de negocio.

Más allá de su éxito profesional, lo que distingue a Rosine es su liderazgo humano, inspirado por valores profundamente arraigados en su formación personal y educativa. “Soy una líder empresarial colombiana de ascendencia libanesa que ha construido su carrera con pasión, resiliencia y propósito. Creo firmemente que no siempre se necesita un plan maestro cuando hay una pasión genuina que se cultiva a diario”, nos comparte Rosine.

Durante la entrevista con nuestra comunidad, Rosine evocó con cariño sus años en el Colegio Rochester. “Siempre el colegio nos incentivó a ser auténticos en cuanto a nuestra personalidad y libertad de expresión. También nos apoyó para pensar de forma diferente y encontrar nuestra propia voz. Esa experiencia fue transformadora”.

Entre los valores que más destaca de su paso por el colegio están la honestidad, la autenticidad, el trabajo en equipo, la decisión de elegir ser feliz, el espíritu emprendedor y la mentalidad de victoria. Estos principios no solo guiaron su desarrollo personal, sino que hoy siguen siendo el eje de su liderazgo profesional. Rosine lidera desde el ejemplo, inspirando con mensajes como: “Amor que salva”, “Feliz por decreto”, “Sí se puede”, “Gratitud infinita” y “Nacimos para brillar”.

En un entorno empresarial competitivo, Rosine destaca la importancia de la empatía como valor fundamental para construir relaciones sólidas y liderar con visión. “La empatía, más que un valor, es un estilo de vida. Ser empáticos con nosotros mismos y con los demás nos permite vivir con paz y bienestar. Y ese bienestar es clave para crecer tanto en lo personal como en lo profesional”, afirma.

En cuanto al enfoque actual del colegio en la creatividad y el trabajo colaborativo, Rosine considera que son elementos esenciales para la innovación y para formar líderes con pensamiento disruptivo. “El colegio siempre nos ‘dejó ser’, y eso fomenta la creatividad. Nos enseñó a trabajar en equipo y a inspirar a otros desde nuestra autenticidad. Esa capacidad de pensar diferente es hoy más necesaria que nunca, especialmente en los medios de comunicación y el mundo empresarial”.

También enfatiza la importancia del respeto por las ideas de los demás, incluso en contextos de alta competencia. “Todas las ideas merecen respeto porque nacen desde la experiencia de cada uno. Podemos no estar de acuerdo, pero eso no invalida su valor”.

Como consejo para los estudiantes actuales del Colegio Rochester, Rosine los invita a perseguir sus pasiones con determinación, optimismo y mentalidad de crecimiento:

“Sean persistentes y mantengan siempre una mentalidad positiva. Todo lo que se propongan se puede hacer realidad. ¡Sí se puede!”

Finalmente, destaca cómo las experiencias tempranas en un ambiente educativo como el del Colegio Rochester marcan una diferencia en la formación de líderes integrales: “El colegio nos brindó espacios para explorar diversas áreas como el deporte, la danza, la música y el arte. Desarrollar habilidades también en estos ámbitos fue clave para construir balance y bienestar, dos fundamentos esenciales del liderazgo moderno”.

This achievement highlights her outstanding professional trajectory, as well as her inspiring example of authentic leadership and clear purpose.

Rosine is currently Country Manager of Samsonite Colombia and has a track record of more than 17 years leading expansion strategies, commercial innovation, and marketing in multinational companies such as Coca-Cola FEMSA, Whirlpool, Apple, and Samsonite. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a profound ability to drive profitable and sustainable growth for companies in global markets such as Latin America, the United States, and Asia, consolidating high-performance teams and positively impacting business results.

Beyond her professional success, what sets Rosine apart is her human leadership, inspired by values deeply rooted in her personal and educational background. “I am a Colombian business leader of Lebanese descent who has built her career with passion, resilience, and purpose. I firmly believe that you don't always need a master plan when there is a genuine passion that is cultivated on a daily basis,” Rosine shares with us.

During her interview with our community, Rosine fondly recalled her years at Rochester School. “The school always encouraged us to be authentic in terms of our personality and freedom of expression. It also supported us to think differently and find our own voice. That experience was transformative.”

Among the values she highlights most from her time at the school are honesty, authenticity, teamwork, the decision to choose to be happy, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a winning mindset. These principles not only guided her personal development but remain at the core of her professional leadership. Rosine leads by example, inspiring with messages such as: “Love that saves,” “Happy by decree,” “Yes we can,” “Infinite gratitude,” and “We were born to shine.”

In a competitive business environment, Rosine highlights the importance of empathy as a core value for building strong relationships and leading with vision. “Empathy, more than a value, is a lifestyle. Being empathetic with ourselves and others allows us to live with peace and well-being. And that well-being is key to growing both personally and professionally,” she says.

Regarding the school’s current focus on creativity and collaborative work, Rosine considers these to be essential elements for innovation and for shaping leaders with disruptive thinking. “The school always ‘let us be,’ and that fosters creativity. It taught us to work as a team and to inspire others through our authenticity. That ability to think differently is more necessary today than ever—especially in the media and business worlds.”

She also emphasizes the importance of respecting others’ ideas, even in highly competitive settings. “All ideas deserve respect because they are born from each person’s experience. We may not agree, but that doesn’t invalidate their value.”

As advice for current Rochester School students, Rosine invites them to pursue their passions with determination, optimism, and a growth mindset:

“Be persistent and always maintain a positive mindset. Anything you set your mind to can come true—yes it can!”

Finally, she highlights how early experiences in an educational environment like Rochester School make a difference in shaping well-rounded leaders: “The school gave us space to explore diverse areas such as sports, dance, music, and art. Developing skills in these areas was also key to building balance and well-being—two essential foundations of modern leadership.”
