Constructing Pythagoras

 Students in the Trigonometry course, 10th grade, used Pythagorean Theorem in the creation and solution of real life problems.

Creativity to think on situations that could be described by using right triangles, and then apply what students know about the Pythagorean theorem to solve them, proved to be an exciting, demanding and interesting task that required big amounts of cooperative work, and the development of skills related to effective communication, and use of knowledge.

CONSTRUYENDO PITÁGORAS.

Los estudiantes del curso de Trigonometría de Noveno grado usan el Teorema de Pitágoras para la creación y la solución de problemas reales.

El uso de la creatividad para pensar sobre situaciones que pueden ser descritas a través de triángulos rectángulos, para que luego los estudiantes apliquen su conocimiento del Teorema de Pitágoras en su solución, se convirtió en una tarea emocionante, exigente y entretenida que demandó el uso de trabajo cooperativo y el desarrollo de habilidades relacionadas con comunicación efectiva y el uso del conocimiento.
