On Tuesday September 21st, we celebrated the International Day of Peace with our students.
Our Preschool and Lower Elementary students focused on using constructive habits to demonstrate how peace is built in the classroom by recognizing their basic needs and those of their peers.
They created spaces for coexistence, to learn and teach the importance of respect for the ideas of others, as well as to recognize that in our differences we are all similar, and learned to explain how it looks and feels to create an environment of tolerance and peace.
