When we started our 2020-2021 school year, many activities were planned by the Middle School faculty team and were developed and worked during the first two weeks to connect to each other and promote a quality environment. One of the activities students performed was to create an origami figure from a sheet of paper. Some groups created very simple things and others were challenged to do more complex figures with a piece of paper. As a team (students school community and teachers), we feel inspired to start a new year with all the possibilities that a new year can offer, showing different evidences of understanding. We wish to give a very special welcome to our new students in 6th Grade, who begin their experience in Middle School. We also give a warm welcome to all the new students in Middle School this year.
Resumen: Cuando iniciamos nuestro año lectivo 2020-2021 muchas actividades fueron propuestas por el equipo docente de Escuela Media y fueron desarrolladas y trabajadas en las primeras semanas para conectarnos y generar un ambiente de calidad. Una de las actividades que observamos como equipo fue crear una figura en origami a partir de una hoja de papel. Unos grupos crearon cosas muy sencillas y otros se retaron a realizar cosas de mayor complejidad con el papel. Como equipo (niños, comunidad escolar y docentes) nos sentimos inspirados para comenzar un nuevo año, mostrando diferentes formas de entendimiento, conexión y comprensión. Queremos darle una bienvenida muy especial a los estudiantes de 5º grado quienes comienzan su experiencia en Escuela Media. También le damos una calurosa bienvenida a los estudiantes nuevos en este nivel.
