Get ready for the most important solidarity event of the year! You will have the opportunity to participate and help the Cotton Top-Tamarin and the kids with cleft lip. The Operation Smile Foundation and the Titi Project need your help!
Prekinder to 5th Grade students will have the chance to play “Soccer for Smiles” in different matches.
6th to 12th Grade students will have the chance to participate in the first Titi-athlon and show their skills in swimming and running.
Also, there will be other activities as “The most cheerful group” and “Make a goal to a teacher”.
Please be aware! Next week we will open inscriptions for each event.
TITI CHALLENGE

DID YOU KNOW THAT…
The Titi Project led the design of the National Program for the Conservation of the Cotton Top-Tamarin in Colombia of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development.
The Tití Project has worked hand to hand with the Colombian environmental authorities to establish protected areas for the Cotton Top-Tamarin, achieving the declaration of two Regional National Parks in Atlántico and Bolívar, which protect more than 1,700 hectares of dry tropical forest. The “Tití Project” also managed to stop the proposal of a mega-airport in properties adjacent to the now protected forests.
Let’s celebrate that there are people committed with our planet and that supports the conservation of the Tropical Dry Forest and the Cotton Top-Tamarin!

Resumen
¡Prepárate para el evento de solidaridad más importante del año!
La Fundación Operación Sonrisa y el Proyecto Tití necesitan de tu ayuda. Muy pronto tendrás la oportunidad de participar y colaborar con el Proyecto Tití y Fundación Operación Sonrisa.
Los grados comprendidos entre Prejardín y 4° recolectarán fondos para los niños con paladar hendido por medio de inscripciones en diversos partidos de fútbol.
Por otra parte, los estudiantes entre 5º y 11º demostrarán sus habilidades en natación y atletismo recolectando fondos para nuestro primer “Titi-atlón”.
Este año contaremos con actividades paralelas para que nadie se quede fuera de esta iniciativa. La próxima semana se abrirán las inscripciones para las actividades mencionadas, además de otras como “El grupo de porras más animado” y “Hacer un gol a un profesor”.
TITÍ RETO
Para que sigas aprendiendo sobre el Tití Cabeciblanco tenemos una información muy valiosa que compartir contigo, al igual que un reto para que realices en familia.
El Proyecto Tití lideró el diseño del Programa Nacional para la Conservación del Tití Cabeciblanco en Colombia logrando la declaratoria de dos Parques Nacionales Regionales en Atlántico y Bolívar, que protegen más de 1,700 hectáreas de bosque seco. Asimismo, se logró detener la propuesta de un mega-aeropuerto planificado en predios adyacentes a los bosques ahora protegidos.
¡Celebremos por esa gente comprometida con nuestro planeta que apoya la conservación del Bosque Seco Tropical y del Tití Cabeciblanco!
